Tom Record has been announced as winner
of the 2009 Hugh M. Huffman Award for
long term contributions in
thermodynamics involving thermochemistry
and calorimetry.
May 15, 2009
Spring PhD graduates include Arash
Bahrami, Yong Chang, and Enfu Hui.
Congratulations to each. Ms. Chang will
start a postdoc at Brown U. in the fall;
Arash and Enfu have postdoc appointments
at the UW.

Congratulations to Junseock Koh, August
PhD graduate in Biophysics from the
Record lab. Junseock has just accepted a
postdoc position at Rockefeller
University in the Blobel lab.
January 15, 2009
Congratulations to Yuanyuan Liu, January
PhD graduate in Biophysics (Mosher lab).
Yuanyuan will do a one year postdoc in
the Mosher lab extending the work she
did her thesis on.
October 15, 2008
Rebecca Turcotte completed the PhD
portion of her training in October
(Raines lab). As a MSTP student she
moves right back into the MD side of
training - we wish her well on the other
end of campus.
